We are able to carry out a wide variety of repairs, maintenance and upgrading work to your windows whether they be sash windows, casement windows or dormer windows.

We will often recommend repair when other companies may suggest replacement as we have the ability to carry out splice repairs, replace window cills and other window repairs that are more specialised.

Within our repair works we will produce custom mouldings that allow us to replicate those on your existing windows.

Many items of period window ironmongery can be restored or replaced to match the existing window, cracked and broken glass panes can be replaced with distorted glass to replicate the original, we are even able to offer the distorted glass as toughened.

Where you may have existing leaded lights these can be carefully removed, encapsulated within a double glazing unit and refitted

Most of our repairs are carried out using either Accoya or a quality durable hardwood to ensure the maximum lifetime for the repair, although we are able to use the same timber as existing if this is preferable.

Sash windows are notoriously either difficult to open and close or are draughty and rattle in the wind. To rectify these difficulties we are able to fully your overhaul windows - this could include renewing broken cords and replacing 'staff' & 'parting' beads with those that contain brush seals.
